Roundup, the go-to weed killer in both home gardens and workplace landscapes, has recently come under scrutiny due to indications that one of its primary ingredients may pose a serious health risk—Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer that affects the immune system.

A scientific study published in 2019 found that people who were exposed to high levels of glyphosate-based herbicides, such as Roundup, had a 41% higher risk of developing Non-Hodgkin lymphoma or one of its subtypes.

Bayer, the owner of Roundup, has agreed to pay $10.9 billion to settle about 100,000 lawsuits from people who claim that Roundup caused their cancer.
